North Fork
- New York, United States.
A section of the North Fork of the Licking River in Ohio was causing significant flooding and erosion of farm fields for nearly 20 years. River Rangers was able to clear the hazard and dispose of the debris according to the permit requirements. No flooding has occurred since the project was completed.

46 Hazards Cleared
Several flooding events and no formal plan to address the falling trees contributed to over 40 hazard locations on a 4 mile stretch of the river. Working under appropriate permits, we were able to secure much of the debris to create new habitat allow for safe passage for paddlers.

Days before a significant paddling event for veterans, many with disabilities, this hazard appeared due to tornadoes, and had to be remedied to protect lives.

What initially appeared to be a complete blockage by a couple trees, turned out to be a complete blockage by a whole network of trees. Through our proprietary methods, the hazard was remediated without any heavy equipment.

Several trees were blocking the Mad River through the metro park. This section of the river has a designed water feature for recreational paddlers. The debris was causing a serious threat to life and health.
